Abstract
The study examined employee wellness and mental health outcomes of public university in Rivers
State. A sample size of 346 drawn from a population of 3,440 academic staff of the public
universities. simple random sampling technique was used. Data was collected through structured
questionnaires, and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient was employed to analyze the relationship
among the variables. The findings indicated a significant positive relationship between employee
wellness programs and mental health outcomes. The study concludes that employee wellness
programs relate with mental health outcomes. The study recommends enhancing wellness programs
for improved mental health outcome.
