ABSTRACT
Traditionally, organizational memory was presented as a semantic extension of the individual memory located in the human brain. However, an organization has no brain and it is almost impossible to explain the organizational memory location. It is in light of this that this study investigated the nexus between organizational memory and organizational performance. This study adopted descriptive survey research design through the use of questionnaire. The population of the study comprised of 123 staffs of the company, which was further reduced to 76 staffs as the sample size through the use of a formula derived by Taro Yamanne. Purposive sampling technique was used to select the staffs. The data was analysed using a statistical tool of Regression Analysis with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS version 25.0) at 5% level of significance. Descriptive Statistics was also used to analyse the relevant data. Findings revealed that there is no significant effect of organizational memory on organizational performance. The study concluded that organization should look beyond this to enhance their performance.
